You will need:
Your basic card kit, plus...
Pink card blank
Blue, lilac, pink, and white card
Blue, lilac and pink patterned papers
Red ribbon
Blue stranded cotton & needle
Small & medium circle punches
Scalloped scissors

Step 1
To make the background, first cut a curved piece of pink patterned paper. Stitch a spotty ribbon on to blue card and wrap it around the paper. Now stick the curved paper to the card front. Trim the card front with scalloped scissors to create a narrow border.

Step 2
Use the template to paper piece the cupcake and stand. Decorate the cupcake case with strips of ribbon and add punched circles to the cake. Attach these pieces to the card with plenty of sticky pads. 

Step 3
To make the cherry, tie a double knot in a length of ribbon and attach double-sided tape to the ends. Wrap the rest of the ribbon around the knot to secure it in place.

Step 4
Add a red bow to the cake stand for a pretty finish.
