Crafty resolutions: Get organised!

2012 is in sight, and we're making crafty resolutions for the new year!

Editor Jenny Dixon says "I really want to get my card making stash sorted out so it's easier to find what I need! Because I live in a small flat, my craft storage is on display, so I want something gorgeous to keep my stash in. I'm really tempted by the beautiful Martha Stewart storage boxes at WeHeartCraft, or perhaps I should go for Really Useful Boxes in every shape and size from Storage 4 Crafts? It's a dilemma! Whatever I choose, I can't wait to get all my card making supplies in order."

Enjoy your stash-sorting, Jenny!

Let us know about your crafty resolutions in the comments below, or send us an email. We'd love to see photos of your newly-organised craft desks too!

Crafty resolutions: Try stitching!

Designer Lucille has a great resolution for her card making in 2012.

"I want to try some new techniques - I'd love to add stitching to my cards! I've already had a go with the Sew Easy range from We R Memory Keepers. I love all the different stitches you can make with the stitch piercing heads, and the Twine looks really stylish on cards. My next step will be to try stitching with a sewing machine. Angela's stitched balloons look great in issue 95!"

Happy stitching, Lucille!

Crafty resolutions: Wear an apron!

apronWe've been talking about crafting resolutions here at Papercraft HQ. Have you made yours yet?

This week, we'll be bringing you some of the Papercraft inspirations team's resolutions for 2012. Here's one from our Creative Editor Angela:

"I've accidentally inked, glittered and glued too many of my favourite dresses this year, so I'm going to make sure I always wear an apron when I'm crafting! I'd love one of these gorgeous aprons from Anthropologie. Although they're so beautiful, I think I'd end up wearing an apron to protect my apron!"

Good luck, Angela!
